6. Select a Safe Meeting Place
You will need to ensure that you have a safe predetermined meeting place that family members can get to easily and quickly. This meeting place will need to be a place away from your home just in case of your home is affected by a terror attack.
You will need to plan on remaining at that designated location for several days. If you have any pets, ensure that your meeting place is pet friendly.
7. Have an Emergency Go Bag Ready
If there is a mandatory evacuation of your neighborhood or city, ensure that you have supplies ready to go. You will need to have appropriate identification, some extra cash first aid supplies, and snacks. Protein bars can be a solid source of energy and long lasting fuel that will keep you from crashing once the adrenalin rush is over.
Water is crucial. Ensure that you have enough packed for you, family members, pets and for other people who failed to prepare.
When if comes to terror attacks, the most important thing you will need to do is STAY CALM. Having a plan in place along with supplies will give you piece of mind and will help you stay calm should an attack occur.
